Our 35th anniversary season finale features not two, not three, but four masterworks: a glorious early Bach cantata … Beethoven’s sublime Choral Fantasy for piano, chorus, orchestra, and with world-renowned soloist Craig Sheppard … Brahms’ heavenly Nänie, with beautiful melodies and a stirring text by Friedrich Schiller (of Ode To Joy fame) ... and, for the grand finale, Say Your Name, the Seattle-area premiere of a stunning new voting-rights cantata by recent Seattle Symphony composer-in-residence Reena Esmail.
